The Bedok 85 Food Haven

Bedok 85 is not only famous for its Bak Chor Mee (minced pork noodle), but also its Peanut Soup and the Tang Yuan. The Tang Yuan is soft, chewy and sweet! Personally, I like the Taro and Black sesame fillings. Together with the peanut soup, it is undoubtedly the best combination ever. This is the best dessert for you if you are looking for something not too sweet but can satisfy your taste bud. Trust me! You should totally try this Tang Yuan and I guarantee you would like it.

Nam Sing Hokkien Mee

Have you ever wonder who's the inventor of Hokkien mee? I noticed this stall when there was a Mediacorp film showing about the origin of different types of local dishes. One of them is Hokkien mee. For the episode of Hokkien mee, the crew traced back until Nam Sing Hokkien Fried Mee stall. He was believed to the creator to such wonderful this that can be found in every Singapore hawker centre. What can be better when you have the person who invented the dish cook the meal?
I have tried it and all I can say its simply AWESOME! It uses the small bee hoon instead of the thick bee hoon, which is commonly found in the dishes. This is to absorb the pork rib soup which is used in the cooking process. It is different from the normal stall's watery Hokkien mee because it absorbs all the sauces. That's why it is called fried in the first place right? The ingredients they used is fresh. The chilli mixed with the noodles is so delicious that no words can be fitted to describe it.

Momoya Japanese Restaurant

Thinking of Japanese food? This is a restaurant that is one of the shophouses beside Jalan pari burong road. This restaurant wall is decorated by the hand artwork of japanese umbrellas. It is a conducive environment to dine in and it has a big glass window that allows you to see the upper changi road, making the restaurant to look more spacious (with the big glass window you can also that whether the parking attendant is putting a ticket onto your car). To be honest i think that ala carte will be better than buffet cause for ala carte you  will have more and better ingredients than those buffet. If one ordered a set, it will be quite filling and it will be about the same price as buffet.
3.75 out of 5 stars

Things to try:
Tako pachi  (It is one of the best takopachi i have ever tasted, its crispy outside and the inner will simply melts in you mouth) beware!!! I simply spam this when i was having buffet :)
Teriyaki (It may take quite a while to cook since they only grill when you have ordered, it is hot and sizzling when served and simply tasty with their special sauce)

Not recommended:
Tokyo Braised Pork (It is simply sinful, when they serve onto the table. One will see the amount of fats that is like 1.5cm thick, i feel like i need to run after the meal... definitely not suitable to girls)

Ikoi Japanese Restaurant in Hotel Mirama

This a Japanese restaurant where lots of celebrities will go so don't be surprised by the tons of pictures they  pasted in the restaurant. Not only that, the last time i dined there, there was a former education minister with his wife dining beside our table. Most people will go there for a dinner buffet. It is the kind of buffet that you need to order and it will serve right to you, thus one don't need to walk around. As an authentic restaurant, their staff will not only dressed in traditional japanese costumes. Please do take note that the restaurant is always packed with customers, therefore it will be always a wiser choice to make a reservation before proceeding down, 68873788. The only bad thing is the restaurant is not that big and always full of people, thus it will be quite close for table and table distance.

Anjappar chettinad restaurant

Thinking of Southern Indian Food but do not have an Indian friend to bring you too? Yesterday, I came across this restaurant when my indian friend celebrated his 21st birthday in the function room. I went to anjappar chettinad restaurant at race course road. This restaurant not only have a few branches in singapore, but it also have other outlets in other countries. For the race course road branch, it has function room on the second floor and a indian culture decorated restaurant on the first floor. As a chinese, i have seldom tried indian food but i will say that this restaurant is worth a try. I believe that my friend will consider the type of food and budget before deciding to plan a party there.
